CalSTRS is seeking a single highly‑qualified full‑stack Cloud Developer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud‑native solutions. The resource will work on‑site at CalSTRS headquarters in West Sacramento (with possible hybrid arrangements) and will be embedded within existing DevOps and security teams. The contract is a “best‑value” hourly‑rate agreement under CalSTRS’s CMAS schedule, with a base period of up to 12 months (extendable an additional 24 months) and an estimated workload of ~160 hours per month. • Minimum experience: ≥ 3 years with AWS core services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and related databases. • Desired expertise: AWS Well‑Architected Framework, cost‑optimization, security automation, and ability to work 2–3 days per week on‑site. • Deliverables include fully functional cloud applications, documentation, knowledge‑transfer materials, weekly status reports, and timesheets for monthly invoicing.
