The USDA Forest Service is seeking a vendor to supply and deliver approximately 100 tons (95‑105 tons acceptable) of certified weed‑seed‑free hay in 75‑lb small bales to the Spotted Bear Ranger Station hay barn in Montana. Delivery must occur between September 15 and September 30 2026, FOB destination. The hay must meet strict Montana Noxious Weed Seed‑Free Forage Act standards, be no more than 75 % alfalfa/legumes, have ≤15 % moisture, and be free of prohibited chemicals. Vendors must provide a Transportation Certificate from the Montana Department of Agriculture and may need to tag or color‑code each bale. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price purchase order, limited to one award, and is set‑aside for small businesses.
