The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, is soliciting proposals for a qualified entity to obtain a concession contract to operate and manage the Porcupine Creek State Recreation Site. The site has 12 campsites and offers trails and fishing opportunities. The contractor will be responsible for park management, including janitorial and facility maintenance and repairs, resource protection, public services, site supervision, and fee collection. The contractor will be allowed to collect fees for overnight camping, daily parking, and firewood, and may propose other revenue-enhancing services.
