The City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is seeking bids for a multi-vendor five-year contract award for regularly scheduled and as-needed bulk delivery of liquid sodium bisulfite. The successful contractor(s) will provide delivery of Liquid Sodium Bisulfite 38% two to four times monthly in trucks to the City’s dichlorination facility on Hayden Island Drive. Key aspects of the job include: • Delivering liquid sodium bisulfite 38% in bulk vessels • Providing a certificate of analysis for each shipment • Meeting the City's required delivery date within three calendar days of receiving an order • Participating in a rotational on-call system for task orders • Complying with the City's sustainability objectives and policies The City estimates an annual usage of 100,000 gallons of liquid sodium bisulfite.
