RFQ for External Auditor

The Employes’ Retirement System of the City of Milwaukee is seeking a qualified vendor to provide external audit services for a period of three years with an option to renew for an additional two years. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting an external audit of the Employer Schedules, which will occur after the conclusion of the WI Legislative Audit Bureau's audit of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. The vendor will need to work with the WI Legislative Audit Bureau to review the ACFR audit, as it is closely intertwined with the Employer Schedules. The scope of work includes auditing the Schedule of Employers Allocations and Pension Amounts by Employer for the year ended December 31, 2024. The vendor will also be required to make a written report of all irregularities and illegal acts or indications of illegal acts of which they become aware to the ERS Board. • The vendor will need to provide a cover letter with primary point of contact and contact information. • The vendor will need to provide a signature of an individual authorized to enter into a contract. • The vendor will need to describe their organization and the services they provide. • The vendor will need to provide information demonstrating their ability to fulfill the services identified in this RFQ. • The vendor will need to provide information about working with public pension plans.
