Blount County Health Department- ARPA Funded Generator

The Blount County Health Department is seeking a licensed general contractor to remove and dispose of an existing emergency generator and install a new 30 kW natural‑gas‑fueled standby generator. The scope includes all labor, materials, tools, permits, testing, startup services, and related pipework and fittings. The existing transfer switch, concrete pad, enclosure, gas infrastructure, and fire‑suppression system will remain in place and must be verified on‑site. Bidders must be Tennessee‑licensed contractors, provide a 5 % bid bond, and furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the bid amount. The contract will be funded with ARPA dollars and must be completed by December 1, 2026.
