Tree & Green Waste Pile Grinding - 2026

Sarpy County is seeking a qualified contractor for the grinding of tree and green waste piles located at the Sarpy County Landfill. The project includes grinding the existing pile of tree and green waste to a nominal 3” particle size and disposing of the ground material. The contractor will also provide a machine with operator to move the materials to the grinder. The county reserves the right to add additional tree and green waste to a separate pile, which the contractor may be required to grind at an hourly unit rate. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and county ordinances. • The contractor must obtain and maintain necessary permits, certifications, and licenses. • The contractor must provide portable sanitation facilities for the work crews. • The contractor must notify the county of any damage to property or utilities during operations and make necessary repairs at no cost to the county.
