HSCC Fiber Optic Installation

The Hot Springs Convention Center is seeking a contractor to install fiber optic cables throughout the building. The project involves pulling new, armored, plenum single-mode fiber from network closets to the main server room/DEMARC, labeling, terminating, and testing the fiber strands, and installing rack-mounted and wall-mounted LIUs. The contractor will need to provide lifts and other equipment to complete the scope of work. The project requires working outside of normal office hours and around the event schedule as needed per management approval. Key aspects of the project include: • Pulling and terminating OS2 Single Mode Fiber (Armored & Plenum) from network locations to the main server room/DEMARC • Certifying all strands of fiber and providing test results • Installing surface and rack-mounted LIUs • Labeling all fiber terminating locations • Testing and providing results in PDF format for all fiber runs • Working around the event schedule as needed per management approval
