Furnish and Delivery of Eight (8) 4x4 Crew Cab Pickups

The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnish and delivery of eight (8) 4x4 crew cab pickups for the Department of Fire and Public Safety. The vehicles must meet specific requirements, including being new and undemonstrated, having a 4x4 single rear wheel crew cab, and meeting certain height, width, and length specifications. The successful bidder will be required to provide warranty service for the vehicles on the island of Maui. • The vehicles must have a standard front drive axle with automatic locking hubs and a standard rear drive axle. • The vehicles must have a double-wishbone front suspension and a coil-spring, multilink rear suspension. • The vehicles must have 4-wheel power-assisted ventilated disc brakes and a standard rack-pinion power steering system. • The vehicles must have a 2.4L I-4 turbocharged inline-4 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. • The vehicles must have a standard radiator, fuel tank, and air intake. • The vehicles must have power adjustable mirrors, fabric-trimmed seats, and a standard flooring and floor mats. • The vehicles must have a charcoal gray interior color and power windows on doors. • The vehicles must have a standard factory installed climate-controlled air-conditioning and an 8-in. multimedia display with 6-speaker audio system.
