Medium Voltage Cables - Jordan Hall

Clemson University is seeking an experienced supplier to provide medium voltage cable for the Jordan Hall project. The scope of work includes providing 1500 ft of 1/0 kcmil MV-105 15kV shielded CU cable, as well as other related materials and components. The successful offeror must provide satisfactory evidence of all required insurance coverage and licenses prior to performance. The supplier must also be an active supplier in Clemson University's buyWays system. Some key requirements of the project include: • The cable must be manufactured and tested in accordance with industry standards such as ASTM, AEIC, ICEA, and IEEE. • The cable must be suitable for use in wet and dry locations, underground duct systems, and aerial installations. • The cable must be rated 105 deg. C for normal operation, 140 deg. C for emergency overload operation, and 250 deg. C for short-circuit condition. • The supplier must provide a detailed breakdown of tariffs and duties applicable to the shipment.
