Essayons Bow Thruster VFD Critical Spares

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract for the provision of bow thruster variable frequency drive (VFD) critical spares. The contractor will be required to provide specific components, including IGBT drivers, adapter assemblies, and copper bar supports, for the ZF Model 5001TT Bow Thruster. The components are proprietary and can only be provided by ZF Marine Propulsion Systems Miramar, LLC. The contract is expected to be awarded on a sole-source basis due to the limited availability of the proprietary components. Key components to be provided include: • Twelve (12) IGBT drivers for 1.1MW Powerstack • Three (3) Econo V Adapter Assemblies • One (1) Frenco Chopper Econopak • One (1) HMI Touch Panel 96MB 5.7” • Three (3) Econo Pack Copper Bar Supports
