The State of Alabama’s Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning services for its Tuscaloosa County office. The contract includes daily cleaning, restroom upkeep, lobby and corridor maintenance, elevator cleaning, exterior door areas, as well as a detailed schedule of weekly, twice‑weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep‑cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor‑waxing, HVAC vent dusting, and window cleaning. Bidders must submit three references, carry at least $1 M liability insurance, provide worker’s‑comp coverage if employing five or more staff, and attend a mandatory site‑visit on November 13, 2026. Questions are due by November 25, 2026, and the bid window closes on December 3, 2026. The initial contract term is 12 months with up to four optional 12‑month extensions, subject to performance.
