Notice of Intent to Sole Source - WOC CRESTRON SYSTEM UPGRADE

The US Air Force intends to award a sole-source contract to Rhodes Research for the repair and upgrade of the Wing Operation Center's Crestron AV system. The system is currently experiencing critical software issues, and Rhodes Research holds the exclusive copyright and ownership of the proprietary software source code. The contract will involve delivering and integrating an upgraded system configuration to restore full operational capabilities. • The system is currently non-functional due to software issues. • Rhodes Research is the original developer, installer, and sole proprietor of the system's custom-engineered architecture. • A competitive award to another source would result in substantial cost duplication and unacceptable operational delays. • The contract will be awarded without further notice if no affirmative written response is received.
