Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a BMG Omega RT-QulC / PRION Version Fluorescence with UV/Vis Absorbance Spectrometer and Luminescence for the Portland VA Medical Center. The instrument must meet specific salient characteristics, including detection modes, optical system, performance, microplate formats, automation and software, temperature control, and shaking. The contractor must submit a completed and signed SF 1449, pricing information, and other required documents.
• The instrument must be a multi-mode microplate reader with ultrasensitive filter-based detection and full spectra UV/VIS capabilities.
• The instrument must have specific detection modes, including fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence, fluorescence polarization, luminescence, and absorbance-spectrometer reading modes.
• The instrument must have a high-energy xenon flash lamp for all light-based measurements and top and bottom reading capabilities.
• The instrument must have an integrated filter wheel with compatibility for 482 nm and 488 nm optical filters.
• The instrument must have a wavelength range for fluorescence of 240-740 nm and fluorescence intensity measurements with sensitivity of < 0.2 fmol/well FITC.
