RFP - Commercial Airport Property Lease

The County of Colusa is seeking a long‑term tenant to lease and operate a 17,100 sq ft commercial facility (two hangars, warehouse, shop and office space) on a two‑acre parcel adjacent to the airport taxiway at the Colusa County Airport. The lease term must be at least ten years, with the lessee responsible for maintenance, utilities, insurance, and compliance with all federal, state, local and FAA regulations. Applicants may be aviation‑related businesses or any commercial, agricultural, or service‑oriented businesses compatible with airport operations. Proposals must include the proposed annual lease amount, detailed business plan, intended use of buildings and outdoor areas, timeline for occupancy, and any planned tenant improvements. Site visits are optional by appointment; questions are due December 14, 2026.
