Kauai District Unit L Mowing Maintenance FY27 & 28

The State of Hawaii, Department of Land & Natural Resources, is seeking a vendor to provide mowing maintenance services for two firebreaks along Kokee Road and Waimea Canyon Drive in Kauai. The vendor will be required to maintain the existing firebreaks by mowing them quarterly, with grass and haole koa not exceeding six inches in height. The firebreaks are approximately 2 miles long and 50-100 feet wide. The vendor must provide insurance to state requirements and include all applicable fees, charges, and taxes in the price submitted. • The contract is for a period of one year, with the option for renewal. • The vendor must be HCE compliant and provide proof of compliance through HCE or paper documentation. • The vendor must include all transportation costs and applicable taxes in the quotation. • The purchase is based on the availability of funds or other internal factors. • Payment will be made with a State of Hawaii Purchase Order (PO).
