St. Mary’s County Public Schools is seeking qualified vendors to provide material, tools, delivery, labor, and professional services for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of theatrical stage rigging systems at three high schools (Chopticon, Great Mills, and Leonardtown). Work will be performed on an as‑needed basis under a one‑year contract with up to four optional one‑year renewals. The solicitation requires compliance with all applicable laws and encourages minority‑business participation. Bids are sealed and must be submitted electronically or by email by the deadline. • Perform safety inspections of all stage rigging components and issue repair recommendations. • Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments to rigging hardware, cables, and supporting structures. • Supply all necessary materials, tools, and labor, ensuring compliance with school district specifications and safety regulations. • Provide documentation of work performed and certify that rigging systems meet applicable codes. • Maintain readiness to respond to additional ad‑hoc rigging needs throughout the contract year.
