Cleaning and Care of Interstate Rest Area-Homestead, SD

The South Dakota Department of Transportation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning, maintenance, and caretaking services for the Homestead interstate rest area (I‑29, Milepost 26.6). The contractor will follow the agency’s Caretaker’s Manual and be responsible for daily restroom cleaning, plumbing and electrical repairs, kiosk and video‑surveillance upkeep, annual deep‑cleaning, grounds‑keeping (lawn mowing, watering, fertilizing, weed control), snow/ice removal (excluding parking lots), recycling management, and timely response to state inspections.
