Description
The Mississippi State Department of Health is seeking quotes for the purchase of four different types of car seats: Infant Car seat, Convertible Car Seat, Combination/High Back Booster Seat, and Backless Booster seat. The quotes will be used to determine a fair and competitive bid starting price. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The successful bidder will be required to provide tracking information for all orders, deliver the seats without assistance from the recipient, and provide inside delivery for all orders. The bidder must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The car seats must meet federal safety standards and have specific features such as belt-positioning guides, internal 5-point harness systems, and adjustable harness heights.
• The bidder must provide a quote with the initial response, including specifications and/or samples for the MSDH to evaluate.
• The reverse auction will be held on July 21, 2026, and qualified bidders will be notified via email.
• The MSDH reserves the right to waive minor informalities and to reject any and all bids.
