Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: New York City Transit (“NYCT”) previously conducted a pilot deployment of a Collision Avoidance System (“CAS”) w/ Intelligent Pedestrian Turn Warning (“PTW”) system on five (5) buses assigned to the MJQ and FR depots to evaluate the system's effectiveness at detecting and alerting bus operators to potential collisions with vehicles and vulnerable road users (“VRUs”). Based on the successful outcome of that pilot evaluation, NYCT has elected to proceed with an additional fleet retrofit of the CAS w/Intelligent PTW system.
