Huron Event Center Food & Beverage Management

The City of Huron is seeking proposals from qualified businesses for the food and beverage management of the Huron Event Center. The selected operator will be responsible for managing the food, beverage, and alcoholic beverage service in the Huron Event Center, including supervising and managing the kitchen area, providing set-up, tear-down, and cleanup for all activities, and maintaining the premises in good repair. The operator will also be responsible for passing all ServSafe regulations, health inspections, and providing and maintaining a food service license. The city is looking for an operator with previous experience operating food and beverage establishments, a strong marketing plan, and the ability to provide a monthly report and payment to the city. • The operator will be an independent contractor contracted by the city to manage the Huron Event Center. • The city will pay no compensation for the food, beverage, and alcoholic beverage services provided by the operator. • The operator will be responsible for all maintenance and cleaning of the premises, including all fixtures, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components. • The operator will provide a monthly report, including South Dakota Sales Tax Forms, to the city commission regarding Huron Event Center operations. • The operator will be responsible for employing all necessary employees to effectively operate the food and beverage service within the Huron Event Center.
