Budget estimate

$3,000,000 – $15,000,000

The budget for this contract is likely to be substantial, given the scope of services required. The county is seeking a vendor to administer medical and pharmacy benefits to its employees and dependents, which could involve significant financial transactions. However, without specific information on the number of employees and dependents, or the estimated annual costs of these benefits, it is difficult to provide a precise estimate. Assuming an average annual cost of $5,000 to $10,000 per employee for medical and pharmacy benefits, and considering the county may have several hundred employees, the total annual cost could range from $1 million to $5 million. Over a three-year contract period, the total budget could be in the range of $3 million to $15 million. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of employees and dependents, the scope of services required, and the level of competition among vendors.
