FY27 - Workforce Development

The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors to contract for FY27 - Workforce Development in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive career planning support to opportunity youth ages 14-24 in Wicomico County. The program should include a strong understanding of local resources, utilization of promising practices, and intentional efforts to address racial and ethnic disparities. The provider must deliver services in person and demonstrate an ability to interact with participants meaningfully. • The program should serve at least 75 disconnected youth between the ages of 14-24 in Wicomico County. • The provider should have a strong understanding of local resources and an established network for referrals. • The program should include utilization of promising practices and evidence-based practices. • The provider should demonstrate an understanding of local race equity data and efforts to reduce Adverse Childhood Experiences. • The program should include a recruitment plan that ensures outreach to the appropriate audience.
