POLYETHYLENE BRINE TANKS - CHARLESTON

The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks a vendor to supply and deliver two 5,500‑gallon polyethylene (CAPTOR) brine or calcium‑chloride containment tanks to the Charleston area, including all required fittings, protective covers, and on‑site engineering support. The contract will be awarded on 09/15/2026 with a performance window lasting roughly five months. • Supply two 5,500‑gallon HDPE containment tanks meeting ASTM D1998‑21 design stress (660 psi at 73 °F) and secondary containment capacity of ≥115 % of primary tank volume. • Provide all associated fittings (manway, bulkhead, vent, flanged connections, sight‑glass) and a protective plastic cover as listed in the engineering drawing (Attachment D). • Include field services: engineer site visits within 24 hours of order and post‑installation verification, as well as delivery handling (wide‑load permits, unloading, and installation assistance). • Submit sealed or online bids by 09/09/2026 02:30 PM; award will be posted on 09/15/2026. Vendor must hold appropriate insurance, certifications, and a valid South Carolina vendor registration.
