OPEN END - STRUCTURE MAINTENANCE, CENTRAL DISTRICT, FY27 - 29

The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor to perform an open‑end, indefinite‑quantity structure‑maintenance contract for the Central District (Kent County) covering FY 27‑29. Work includes a wide range of bridge and roadway repairs—back‑filling, flowable fill, guard‑rail and fence replacement, fog‑seal, crack and joint sealing, drainage inlet work, FRP jacket and epoxy grout encasements, steel‑sheet‑pile installation, deck repairs, riprap, pavement markings, topsoil placement, seeding, and related incidental construction. The contract will be awarded on a unit‑price basis with a 1,095‑day performance period (approximately three years) and requires a 10 % surety bond, compliance with prevailing‑wage rates, and a performance rating of at least 85 %. • Scope covers bridge/structure repair, concrete/masonry work, sealing/coating applications, traffic‑control device rehabilitation, and environmental mitigation. • Payments are on a unit‑price basis; no retainage unless dictated by performance‑rating system. • Contractor must be registered with DelDOT, hold a Delaware business license, provide a drug‑testing affidavit, and meet the performance‑rating requirement.
