Actuarial Valuation Services

The County of Dane, Wisconsin, is seeking proposals from qualified providers to assist it in an actuarial valuation of post employment benefits, other than pension, in compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement 75. The successful proposer will provide actuarial valuation services, including calculation of the actuarial accrued liability and the annual required contribution. The contract term is expected to be approximately 4 years, from the contract execution date to April 30, 2030. Key responsibilities include: • Providing actuarial valuation services for the County's post employment benefits • Calculating the actuarial accrued liability and the annual required contribution • Preparing reports for the County and Public Health of Madison and Dane County • Providing advice on the most appropriate actuarial cost method to be employed • Meeting with County staff to discuss the valuation results and any assumptions used
