Sedgwick County, Kansas is soliciting a qualified firm to provide comprehensive check‑collection services for returned checks generated by multiple county departments. The vendor must handle receipt, consumer contact, ongoing weekly follow‑ups, monthly reporting, ACH payments to departments, and, if directed, all litigation activities at the vendor’s expense. The contract is for an initial two‑year term with two optional one‑year renewals and may be terminated with 30‑day notice. • Provide end‑to‑end collection of returned checks, including initial consumer contact within 7 days and weekly follow‑ups for 12 weeks. • Deliver monthly electronic invoices, ACH payments, and status notifications to each requesting department. • Assume all costs for any litigation the county directs, and maintain required insurance coverage (CGL, workers’ comp, automobile liability, etc.).
