The U.S. Navy is seeking a sole‑source supplier for four linear direct valves (NSN 7H-4820-011667106). The Navy lacks the technical data to produce the item and requires an approved repair source that is certified as a Depot Overhaul Point (DOP) by the In‑Service Engineering Activity (ISEA). Interested firms must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) to become an approved source; the technical review is conducted by NAVSEA ISEA and can be lengthy. Offers for remanufactured, surplus, or repair parts will be rejected. Proposals (or capability statements) must be submitted within 45 days of the notice (30 days if under an existing BOA). The procurement will be conducted under FAR 6.302‑1 (sole source) and is not subject to FAR Part 12 (commercial items).
