H3(FGH)-01-26C Maint. Landscape and Irrigation H-3 Koolaupoko

The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, is seeking bids for the maintenance of landscaped areas and irrigation systems along the H-3 Freeway, from Hospital Rock to Halekou Interchange, on the island of Oahu. The contract term is 12 months, with options to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The scope of work includes maintenance of landscaped areas, inspection and repair of irrigation systems, litter collection, and miscellaneous work. • The contractor must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor’s “C-27” license at the time of bidding. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, payment of wages, and safety. • The contractor must provide proof of compliance with the requirements of Section 103-55, HRS, regarding wages and working conditions. • The contractor must submit a completed Hawaii Bidder/Offeror Preference Certification Form (Form SPO-081) to qualify for the 5% Hawaii bidder preference. • The contractor must upload the complete proposal to HIePRO prior to the bid opening date and time. • The contractor must provide a certificate for performance of services, which includes certifying that all applicable laws will be fully complied with and that services will be performed by employees paid at wages or salaries not less than those paid to public officers and employees for similar work.
