Furnishing of Labor and Equipment for Trimming and Removing of Trees within Various County of Maui Parks

The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnishing of labor and equipment for trimming and removing trees within various County of Maui parks. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for each designated section, with the option to renew for another year at the same bid prices, terms, and conditions. The contractor must provide a certified arborist to supervise and inspect the work, and all tree pruning activities must be done to International Society of Arboriculture standards. The contractor will be responsible for removing all debris and providing adequate traffic control and safety management of the work area. • The contract includes three sections: Hana District, Molokai District, and Lanai District. • The contractor must have a State Licensed Tree Trimmer in good standing and a current Contractors License type 27 or 27B. • The contractor must maintain general and professional liability insurance coverage with combined single limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations.
