Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Coastal Carolina University seeks a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for its faculty, staff, and their dependents. The program must provide confidential counseling, crisis intervention, health‑ and wellness‑related services, and training, with 24/7 toll‑free access, rapid in‑person response, and statewide coverage across all South Carolina counties. The contractor must also supply reporting, promotional materials, bilingual support, and meet strict data‑security, accessibility, and insurance requirements. • Core services: short‑term counseling (minimum 6 visits/individual/year), 24‑hour hotline, on‑site crisis support, and three‑month post‑employment coverage. • Training: at least 12 onsite hours annually plus unlimited online modules on stress, resilience, substance‑abuse, etc. • Reporting & QA: monthly/quarterly utilization and satisfaction reports, quality‑assurance plan, and promotional outreach. • Mandatory qualifications: licensed mental‑health professionals with CEAP/EAS‑C credential, prior experience at ≥2 universities (≥1,000 employees each), statewide provider network, required insurance limits, and completion of a data‑security questionnaire.
