FLIGHT MANAGEMENT C

The US Navy is seeking a contractor to repair FLIGHT MANAGEMENT C systems. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing the systems to return them to a Ready For Issue (RFI) condition. The contractor must provide all necessary parts and materials, unless specified as Government Furnished Material (GFM). The contract requires the contractor to establish and maintain a quality system that ensures conformance to all applicable requirements. The contractor must also provide a proper enclosed warehouse environment for storing material items awaiting repair and assets that have been repaired and are awaiting shipment. Some key points to consider: • The contract requires the contractor to perform repairs within 110 days of receipt of the asset. • The contractor must obtain written concurrence from DCMA for all units determined to be Beyond Economical Repair (BER). • The contractor must establish and maintain a system of control over purchased parts and material. • The contractor must provide a calibration system that meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, ISO-10012-1 or an equivalent calibration program acceptable to the Government.
