Description
The Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) is issuing an RFI to collect information from vendors capable of delivering evidence‑based mathematics improvement services to schools identified for Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA). The goal is to compile a statewide Mathematics Support Provider List that schools can reference when selecting vendors for future contracts. Submissions must detail the vendor’s experience, methodology, and capabilities across six focus areas, including needs assessment, system design, professional learning, equity, implementation coaching, and sustainability. No monetary award is attached at this stage; the RFI serves solely as a data‑gathering effort.
• Scope: Evidence‑based math instructional improvement, professional development, coaching, data‑driven decision making, and capacity building for K‑12 schools.
• Requirements: Narrative describing eligibility across seven criteria (math improvement outcomes, school‑improvement experience, coaching, data analysis, leadership development, cultural responsiveness, rural/frontier experience) plus supporting documentation.
• Deadline: Responses due by 17 September 2026, after which OPI will create and distribute the vendor resource list.
