Description
This contract involves the complete replacement of the existing fast‑enned metal roof on the Switchgear Building at the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority plant campus. The scope includes removal of the existing roof, replacement of any deteriorated 2 × 4 purlins, installation of new APA‑rated 5/8″ plywood decking, a full standing‑seam metal roofing system (with concealed fasteners, fascia, soffits, vented ridge caps, and trim), underlayment, and a self‑adhering ice‑barrier per City of Rockford detail. The awarded contractor must provide all required submittals, maintain extensive insurance and bonding, comply with prevailing‑wage and various state statutes, and complete the work by September 30 2025, with liquidated damages of $300 per day for overruns.
