Description
This procurement awards the supply of a full set of P25‑compatible portable radios and related accessories for Cuyahoga County’s public safety operations. The scope includes ten ruggedized handheld radios, ten rapid chargers, ten external speaker‑microphones, and one multi‑unit charger capable of charging twelve radios simultaneously, with all equipment meeting APCO, MIL‑STD‑810, and FCC requirements. The contract is priced on a unit‑price basis, with no separate shipping charges allowed.
• Portable radios must support 700/800 MHz P25, multi‑key AES/DES encryption, OTA rekey, and have a 10‑hour battery life.
• Accessories (chargers, speaker‑mic, gang charger) must be compatible with the selected radio model.
• Vendor must be registered with the Cuyahoga County Inspector General and provide warranty/support documentation.
