Term Contract for CBJ Courier Services for Treasury, Library & Capital Transit, as specified

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is seeking a term contract for courier services for its Treasury, Library, and Capital Transit departments. The contract will commence on July 1, 2022, and will continue through June 30, 2023, with four additional automatic annual renewal terms. The contractor will be responsible for providing daily courier services, including picking up and delivering packages and mail, and must be able to schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of all courier services. The contractor must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and city laws and safety laws. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting all requirements. • The contractor must provide certification of proper insurance coverage or binder to the City and Borough of Juneau prior to the award of the contract. • The contractor must utilize competent employees in performing the work specified in this agreement. • The contractor must comply with all standards of the State of Alaska, Dept. of Labor, Division of Labor Standards and Safety, and the City and Borough of Juneau. • The contractor must provide regular and timely status updates when needed. • The contractor must be able to perform duties in a courteous and professional manner.
