Description
The Montana State University is seeking a contractor or multiple contractors to provide window cleaning services for its campus buildings. The contract term is expected to be four years with an option to renew for an additional three years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for both interior and exterior cleaning. The contractor must also follow all university policies and procedures, including safe work practices and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• The contract includes four categories: Facilities, University Student Housing, Sports Facilities, and Auxiliaries General.
• The contractor will need to coordinate parking needs with the university primary contact for each category.
• The contractor must be knowledgeable of safe work practices and provide staff that are capable of lifting 50lbs or more, standing for long periods of time, climbing ladders, and being exposed to various weather elements.
• The contractor shall adequately protect the work, adjacent property, and the public in all phases of the contract.
• Window cleaning services supplied under this contract shall comply with all federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, as well as the guidance under IWCA ANSI I-14.1-2001.
