BOI 34.5kV Transformer Replacement

The City of Boise is seeking a contractor to replace a 34.5kV transformer at the airport. The project involves refeding power to the airport from a new Idaho Power-owned 5000 kVA pad-mounted transformer, which will serve the airport's existing medium voltage switchgear SWGR-1A. The contract was awarded to A.M.E. Electric, Inc. and Lea Electric, LLC, with a total bid of $684,800.00 and $768,185.00, respectively.
