Term Contract for CBJ Recyclable Materials Pick-Up Services as Specified

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a contractor to provide pick-up and delivery services for recyclable materials from various CBJ facilities. The contract includes the collection of white and mixed paper, boxes of books, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, aluminum cans, plastic bottles, corrugated cardboard, and various #1 and #2 plastics. The contractor will be responsible for transferring the materials to their own containers and transporting them to the Juneau Recycle Center. The contract has a term of two years, with the option for up to four automatic annual renewal terms. The contractor must provide monthly invoicing, and the City will process payments upon review and approval. • The contractor must be capable of scheduling, coordinating, providing management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment as required by the quote specifications. • The contractor must be able to resolve minor site issues without constant involvement from the CBJ Contract Manager. • The contractor must guarantee their performance of the services required in accordance with the standards, frequencies, and duration as described in the quote specifications. • The contractor must provide certification of proper insurance coverage or binder to the City and Borough of Juneau prior to the award of the contract. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and CBJ laws, standards, rules, and safety regulations.
