Description
The Lynbrook Union Free School District Board of Education approved a slate of awards covering early‑childhood education services, multiple school‑building construction projects, and district‑wide cooperative supply contracts. Two vendors were selected to provide universal Pre‑K services for the 2026‑27 school year, a third vendor was awarded supplemental Pre‑K hours, and a single vendor won the before/after and summer care program with multi‑year renewal options. Construction contracts total roughly $2.9 million and include roof reconstruction at the high school and trade‑specific work at North Middle and West End elementary schools. Four cooperative contracts (signs, irrigation, locksmithing, building materials) were extended for an additional year with fixed discount rates.
