Description
This contract is a design‑build opportunity for the stabilization of the east rock face behind MetraPark Arena in Billings, MT. The selected design‑builder will be responsible for all design, permitting, rock‑scaling, installation of a double‑twisted steel wire mesh (or an approved alternative), anchoring with rock bolts or expansion anchors, sidewalk repairs, and a post‑construction maintenance plan. Work must be completed by mid‑September 2026, with construction allowed only in early July and mid‑August to avoid conflicts with the Montana Fair. The evaluation heavily weights project management approach (40 pts) and detailed cost breakdown (45 pts). The County requires pre‑qualification as a rock‑slope contractor through MDT and will award the contract after reviewing hard‑copy proposals submitted by early April.
