Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite (WBP 9004)

The City of Boise is seeking to procure 12.5% liquid sodium hypochlorite delivered in bulk for multiple PW facilities. The contract has a start date of 9/16/24 and has the option of three (3) annual renewals. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The scope of work includes the delivery of liquid sodium hypochlorite to the City's storage vessels, with the supplier responsible for ensuring the product meets the City's specifications. Key points to note include: • The liquid sodium hypochlorite must not contain any foreign matter or impurities that may damage the City's equipment or facilities. • The supplier must provide a Bill of Lading/Weigh Slip with each delivery, indicating the date of delivery, bill number, gross weight, tare weight, and net weight of the liquid sodium hypochlorite. • The City reserves the right to subject samples of the liquid sodium hypochlorite to analysis to determine if it meets the City's specifications. • The supplier must comply with all US DOT regulations for marking and shipping the liquid sodium hypochlorite. • The City may reject any load that does not meet the specifications, and the supplier shall be responsible for removing the non-conforming liquid sodium hypochlorite at no additional cost to the City.
