Bridge Load Posting Signs

The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking offers for the fabrication, provision, and delivery of Bridge Load Posting Signage. The contract requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, shipping, and incidentals necessary to provide load posting signs at any location within the State of Montana. The contractor must also include bid prices for storing 20 blank signs onsite in inventory and for adhesive overlays. The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder who provides the best offer. • The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, shipping, and incidentals necessary to provide load posting signs at any location within the State of Montana. • The contractor must confirm each order and communicate the anticipated completion and delivery date to the MDT contract manager within 3 business days of receiving each order. • Signs, including text and symbols, must be in accordance with the attached specifications, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) 11th Edition, and FHWA’s Standard Highway Signs (SHS) 2024 Edition. • The contractor will include a bid price for storing 20 blank signs onsite in inventory. • The contractor will also include bid prices for adhesive overlays – trimmed to size – for 3”, 3.5”, 4.5”, and 5” letter height.
