Housing Support Services

Multnomah County Aging, Disability and Veterans Services Division (ADVSD) is seeking contractors to provide Housing Support Services to clients and eligible Multnomah County residents. The services include moving assistance, delivery services, disposal services, packing, and extreme cleaning and bed bug treatment preparation. The contract term is 5 years, and the county has budgeted approximately $250,000 annually for the contract. The contractors will be required to provide monthly reports and participate in a minimum of one hour of training annually on best practices for bed bug abatement. Some key points about this contract include: • The target population for this contract is Multnomah County residents age 60 and older and persons with disabilities age 18 and older. • The services will be provided within the geographic borders of Multnomah County. • The contractors will be required to obtain a certificate from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the for-hire transportation of household goods. • The contractors will be required to provide proof of insurance, including professional liability, commercial general liability, and workers' compensation. • The contractors will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the services provided. • The contractors will be required to participate in a minimum of one hour of training annually on best practices for bed bug abatement.
