Description
The County of Kauai, through its Agency on Elderly Affairs, issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Home-Delivered and Congregate Nutrition Services. The RFP was issued on July 24, 2025, and proposals were due by August 25, 2025. The contract is funded by the State of Hawaii and the County of Kauai. The scope of work includes providing home-delivered and congregate nutrition services to the elderly population on Kauai.
• The RFP was issued pursuant to HRS 103D.
• The contract is subject to the provisions of Section 103-55, HRS, regulating wages and hours and working conditions of employees of contractors supplying services to governmental agencies.
• The County of Kauai reserves the right to cancel the RFP or reject any or all proposals.
• The contract is a Federal and State-Aid Project.
• The RFP document includes a Proposal Evaluation and Scoring sheet, which was used to evaluate and score each proposal based on the requested criteria.
• The evaluation panel review concluded that Kaua'i Economic Opportunity Inc. did not meet the qualifying score and was not awarded the contract.
