Description
This contract calls for the procurement of a 2024 Ford F450 ambulance chassis (or equivalent) and the complete remount of an existing ambulance module onto the new chassis. The scope includes disassembly, structural inspection, installation of new electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, cot‑mount, paint, interior finishing, and full functional testing. The work must meet Federal ambulance specifications and includes detailed requirements for wiring, battery systems, siren and speaker installation, and quality assurance testing.
• Supply and deliver a new ambulance chassis (2024 Ford F450 or comparable).
• Remove, inspect, and remount the existing ambulance module with full refurbishment (electrical, HVAC, interior, exterior).
• Perform all required certifications, functional testing, and provide documentation (manuals, warranties, paint codes).
• Submit hard‑copy and electronic bids by Oct 3 2022; award ultimately went to Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus.
