Description
Multnomah County is seeking qualified providers to hire, train, and supervise domestic and sexual violence advocates for services located at the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services. The primary goal of these services is to improve the well-being of survivors and their families. The contract term shall be five (5) years, with funding projected at $290,000 per year. The selected vendors will provide domestic violence advocacy services, including crisis management, safety planning, and information and referral.
• The Gateway Center serves approximately 10,000 visits each year and will serve nearly 5,000 unique survivors annually.
• The center provides a collaborative environment, with multiple agencies and services working together to assist adult and child survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
• The selected vendors will be required to provide culturally specific and culturally responsive services, with a focus on serving diverse populations, including African American, Native American, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ communities.
• The contract will be a Cost Reimbursement type, with the county paying the provider for budgeted, agreed-upon costs that are actually incurred in the delivery of services.
• The selected vendors will be required to provide quarterly invoices and semi-annual narrative reports, as well as participate in data collection and evaluation activities.
