Rest Area Septic Tank Pumping Billings Eastside

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking bids for the Rest Area Septic Tank Pumping Billings Eastside project. The contract involves pumping out septic tank sites at three rest areas (Custer, Hardin, and Hysham) on an "as needed" basis. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The contract period is from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026. • The contract requires the contractor to clean and flush all chambers, properly dispose of all septic waste material, and restore the site to its original grade and appearance. • The contractor must also secure all permits and dumping fees required. • The MDT will be responsible for uncovering the septic tank chamber opening and providing the contractor with the locations of the tank openings at each site. • The contractor must complete the work within three working days of notification and must enforce all relevant federal, state, and local safety and health requirements.
