TO PROVIDE YOUTH SERVICES UNDER THE WORKFORCE INNOVATION & OPPORTUNITY ACT OF 2014 (WIOA)

The County of Kauai, Office of Economic Development, is seeking a vendor to provide youth services under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA). The contract is for a period of two years and has a total value of $90,971.00. The vendor will be required to provide services to youth aged 14-24 who are economically or otherwise disadvantaged or who face serious barriers to employment. The services and programs funded under this contract are intended to provide assistance in achieving academic and employment success to eligible youth. Key aspects of the contract include: • The contract is a negotiated contract, and the vendor has been awarded the contract pursuant to the provisions of HAR 3-122-35. • The contract is subject to the availability and appropriation of funds. • The vendor is required to provide insurance as required per solicitation or negotiation. • The contract documents will be mailed under separate cover for the vendor's review and execution. • The vendor is required to submit a Contractor's Certificate of Compliance for Final Payment (self-certification form) with their final payment invoice.
