The contractor will deliver 24/7 security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response using Microsoft security tools (Azure Sentinel, Defender suite) and integrate with the County’s existing logging infrastructure. Key responsibilities include continuous monitoring of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoints, and servers; handling approximately 4.5 TB of log data per month with one‑year retention; augmenting a small internal SOC to provide round‑the‑clock coverage; and delivering regular security reports and compliance documentation. The contract requires the vendor to maintain comprehensive insurance coverage (CGL, cyber risk, professional liability, etc.) for at least five years post‑completion and to operate exclusively with on‑shore staff (no offshore analysts).
